Eating with Lulu: Part 1
I’ve spent the last couple days eating great things with the Lulu McAllister. Witness it all:
Tonight we ventured to Flushing, Queens for some pulled noodles with eel
and steamed pork dumplings
This was my second trek to the Golden Mall. My first trip to Flushing was an RW1 outing on August 13th, 2010 (If you have to ask, you’ll never know.) This was Lulu’s first venture to Flushing. Here she is basking in the fluorescent lights of the Golden Mall.
A few days earlier we sampled chocolates from the Mast Brothers. I was advised by the man working not to be afraid of the Brooklyn Blend which is described as “chocolatey with hints of plum, tobacco and earth.” It started pouring rain while we were in the shop so we killed time by smelling chocolate nibs and mulch.
